So I'm using the Taurino Power in a 3D printer, and the Taurino draws power from the RAMPS shield as I'd expect. When I turn the main PSU off, the Taurino continues to draw power over the USB connection. I'd like to stop this and have the Taurino turn off when the main PSU is turned off. However if I use a USB cable which has the 5V line cut to connect the Taurino to the PC, the PC cannot see the Taurino on the USB bus.

This is because the ATMega16 uses USBVCC on pin 31 which it needs to work. Is there an easy modification I can make to my Taurino board to stop USBVCC from powering the rest of the Taurino Board without cutting the power to pin 31 on the ATMega16?
