Im using a RUMBA board with the MARLIN 1.0.1 firmware to drive a BFB 3000 printer
Mostly its working, I can control XYZ motion and turn the extruder heater on.

Issues I'm having seem to be related to the thermistor set up
when I first connect to the printer i get "
    11:05:04.695 : : Extruder switched off. MAXTEMP triggered !
11:05:04.766 : Error:printer stopped due to errors. Fix the error and use M999 to restart. (Temperature is reset. Set it after restarting)
And the temperature curve shows an initial spike to 350 degrees and then seems to be stuck at 99 degrees and I'm unable to elicit a reaction from it (even by just bridging over the connections to the thermister point on the board)

any suggestions on what to do to troubleshoot this issue?
